I'd like to see a video like this where it goes into the internal temperature in the bag, b/c there's a chance that it's so hot inside the bag that whatever you have in there starts to boil or burn and what you end up with is essentially molten contents in the bag, which isn't great. For example, if you save some kind of document with a seal on it, that document might get so hot that the seal melts, damaging the document and anything around it--i.e. a document with more internal volume + dividers might be good long term.

Items in our vehicle kits have similar expirations date and are rotated each summer because of their exposure to heat here in South Florida. Thanks for sharing!

I like coffee too, but would not recommend it in a "survival" situation. It can give you some sort of comfort and short mental energy burst... but it comes at a cost. You risk having to go 💩 and/or take a piss. That can leave you vulnerable and loosing valuable fluids.

Talking about saving energy/power... Use a smaller stow for the small pot/casserol. A lot of energy and heat escapes from the area around the pot/casserol. Excuse my english.

You absolutely should not let the air out of your tires unless you want to purchase new tires lol. Letting the air oit puts alot of stress on the side wall of the tire, and leaving it flat can damage the sidewalls.

Only things that I didnt see is barter or conditional trade or coin items and Cover faraday bags (which I believe you covered previously). Imagine you could use cash, gold or silver coins. Though small bottles of whiskey, gin and rum and or tobacco could go a long way if you are in a rough area and have multiple kit uses.

So how does cowboy coffee compare to using your old-school percolator with the filter basket and tube set up inside? If you let it percolate for the same four minutes isn’t it theoretically doing the exact same thing to the water? Seems like clean up would be a little easier… Can you do a test for us?

I lasted 3 hours when the power went out during the Texas freeze in 2021. Woke up to my house being 58 degrees. Got dressed and started the generator up. I have a different brand of these lights plus one in the kitchen like businesses have. 3 UPS to power cameras, internet and automation system. My freezers have YoLink sensors to alert if they got too warm.

Thanks for this video. What do you mean by "keeping a fresh supply of propane "? Do the tanks or the propane go bad with long term storage? I have two 20lbs and one 5lbs tanks. While I go camping say 10 weekends per year, I barely cook twice. Most of the time other people cook. So my tanks have stored for years. The oldest tank is approx 7 years old. I also have a charcoal 22" kettle grill. You can use a 1lb lp tank to start the charcoal.
